Emmanuel Nassar (1949; Capanema, Brazil) lives and works in Belém and São Paulo.
Works with elements associated with Brazilian popular tradition, influenced by Pop and constructive art.
The artist exhibited at the 20th and 24th Biennials of São Paulo, won the Grand Prize of the 6th Cuenca Biennial and participated in the 45th Venice Biennale. His work is in the collections of the University Essex Museum (England), Cisneros Foundation - Collection Patricia Phelps de Cisneros (New York / Caracas), Marcantonio Vilaça, MAM - Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Museum of Contemporary Art of Niterói and São Paulo, Museum of the State of Pará, Pinacoteca of São Paulo, among others.
