Lives and works in Belém and São Paulo.
He works with elements associated with Brazilian popular tradition, influenced by Pop Art and Constructivism.
The artist exhibited at the 20th and 24th São Paulo Biennials, won the grand prize at the 6th Cuenca Biennial and participated in the 45th Venice Biennale.
His work is in the collections of the University Essex Museum (England), Cisneros Foundation – Patricia Phelps de Cisneros Collection (New York/Caracas), Marcantonio Vilaça, MAM – Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Museum of Art Contemporary of Niterói and São Paulo, Museum of the State of Pará, Pinacoteca de São Paulo, among others.
